A Portrait

I had been watching with envy some of my artist friends using the digital media with aplomb to create lovely pieces of work. Could not help but give it a try. The tools were confusing and the hands used to holding a brush were a bit foxed when told to draw and paint with the mouse! Finally managed to make something. This is a portrait of an African woman in all her finery. Hope you like it.

  16. It has your watercolor look and I thought you had just continued your poppy painting style with this one - all the dots of color together creating visual blending. Well done! Liked the poppies, too, but especially love the Monsoon painting - so dark and the sky so threatening with that pop of red color in that one.

Etonnant, l'alliance de l'Afrique et le pointillisme. Très intéressant!

  18. Now, I like this digital one a lot. Has a sketching vibe to it mixed with watercolor. And I love the colorful dots.
