I am in Bangalore undergoing some hectic training. Thankfully the weekend was free. Went across with some friends to this golf course... not to play, but to paint ! However hard I tried the guys would not let me sit in the course with my paraphernalia at some vantage point... not permitted by the course regulations. Finally had no choice but to sit in the club house where the only view I had was a clump of trees. A tired caddy made the scene a little interesting. Half an hours job. Still something is better than nothing.
I like the painting of the tired caddy resting under the trees! Very nice. Sorry they wouldn't let you get closer to the greens.
ReplyDeleteUn trabajo rápido pero bien hecho, me gusta la variedad de verdes y la soltura en la pincelada, saludos.
ReplyDeleteDesperation worked wonders :-) Lovely and soft.
ReplyDeleteWow. Your little something is great. I love the loose feel to the foliage of the trees.
ReplyDeleteStay inspired!
I love the different color greens in this painting...beautifully done, AK!
ReplyDeleteWell you managed a very nice painting under difficult circumstances. Excellent job on the greens in the trees.
ReplyDeleteA half an hour well spent AK, lovely soft work on the trees. It is a pity that you were not allowed to set up your easel. While in Bangalore, I would recommend Lal Bagh for your painting session..you can do it at your pace and such lovely views to paint! Nandi hills is also one more option.
ReplyDeleteThanks Padmaja. Will try and make it to Lal Bagh. Went to this place as it was very close to where I am staying.
Deletewonderful 1/2 hr sketch ak ...like to have seen what you'd painted from a good vantage point .
ReplyDeleteCiao ak,
ReplyDeletevery good.! the green for me it is a difficult colour to paint, good to see but not so easy to give life in a picture. So may be it is better you have painted trees, (very nice) and not the campus of golf!
Ciao, a presto, Floriana
hey Asit, thank you for sharing
ReplyDeleteyour experience in painting this
fine painting with fresh and soft colours.
some relaxed days for you
That's a funny story, Asit. Golfers are definitely protective of their turf. I'm glad you at least had half an hour of relaxing painting. :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful captured!
ReplyDeleteBellissimi questi alberi. Elvi
ReplyDeleteWell know, perhaps we should have a painting course and no golfers allowed!
ReplyDeleteThough I have to say, I love your club house piece. Especially the tired caddy! xx
