Morning Light - 2

     Thanks Padmaja and Saini for your valuable inputs. Decided to tweak it a little more. Initially tried watercolours, but the paint was turning muddy. Tried soft pastels instead. The result is in front of you. I think I did come a bit closer to my aim. What do you think? PS: Padmaja, you had not even seen the original pic. But your inputs were bang on. That just shows your understanding of light and its nuances. Saini, keep contributing. Ill improve!!! Yr next pic is welcome!!!

    Espectacular paisaje que con tonos fríos resulta muy calido, el arrastre del pastel por algunas zonas ha creado originales texturas felicitaciones, un saludo.

    When you compare the two, it feels like suddenly the sun came out and splashed his light all over! The light you arrived at is mellow yet the glow is unmistakable. That is a good pointer there, to have used pastels..the texture you got out of it has also contributed to the new look:-)

    Hi AK, I enjoy both paintings. The first sketch is loose and is missing the darks of the second painting. However, the first paintings syle is inspiring.
