Morning Mist
This is a familiar sight for every Helicopter pilot who takes off in the morning into the hills. "Penetrating a thin layer of mist you see the morning sun rising on the horizon. The bright yellow light gives you a ray of hope- 'All is well'. The valley bottom is shrouded in mystery with a layer of fog. Somewhere in the distance is your destination. Another long day. At the end of the day I shall have another interesting story to tell". I saw a photograph clicked by a colleague and immediately wanted to paint it. The subject has been treated in an abstract style. Have tried out acrylics for the first time.

Very pretty. I like things that are a little different. And I like the transparent layering effect.
