Winter

I am not an abstract expressionist but am an admirer of Jackson Pollock. I find his work and his technique really interesting. Wanted to give it a try. The result is in front of you all. This canvas was not touched by brush or by any other instrument for that matter. The entire painting was done by spattering or pouring paint. The branches of the tree and signatures were done by pouring through a paper cone! Am posting another close-up showing the details of a section.

Thoroughly enjoyed doing this. Believe me, my friends also joined me in splashing paint all over the canvas! A small experiment .... a lot of satisfaction!

  2. What an imaginative way of painting! And so effective too! It is exactly like standing in a blizzard, something I was doing not so long ago. This is fantastic! :0)
