ASC Golf club@ Bangalore

I am in Bangalore undergoing some hectic training. Thankfully the weekend was free. Went across with some friends to this golf course... not to play, but to paint ! However hard I tried the guys would not let me sit in the course with my paraphernalia at some vantage point... not permitted by the course regulations. Finally had no choice but to sit in the club house where the only view I had was a clump of trees. A tired caddy made the scene a little interesting. Half an hours job. Still something is better than nothing.

  1. I like the painting of the tired caddy resting under the trees! Very nice. Sorry they wouldn't let you get closer to the greens.

  2. Un trabajo rápido pero bien hecho, me gusta la variedad de verdes y la soltura en la pincelada, saludos.

  7. A half an hour well spent AK, lovely soft work on the trees. It is a pity that you were not allowed to set up your easel. While in Bangalore, I would recommend Lal Bagh for your painting session..you can do it at your pace and such lovely views to paint! Nandi hills is also one more option.

  9. Ciao ak,
very good.! the green for me it is a difficult colour to paint, good to see but not so easy to give life in a picture. So may be it is better you have painted trees, (very nice) and not the campus of golf!
    Ciao, a presto, Floriana

  11. That's a funny story, Asit. Golfers are definitely protective of their turf. I'm glad you at least had half an hour of relaxing painting. :)

  13. Well know, perhaps we should have a painting course and no golfers allowed!
Though I have to say, I love your club house piece. Especially the tired caddy! xx
