I hasten to say, I don't know, it's just an idea and I really do think it's lovely as is.laurahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11999450626008299190noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7386934603423021992.post-81017448496749453492010-06-19T23:21:57.221-07:002010-06-19T23:21:57.221-07:00I like the wide knocks of brushes in the sky which...I like the wide knocks of brushes in the sky which stress emphasize the whites and highlight the light.
Beautiful poetry.oliviahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18418102249283872865noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7386934603423021992.post-68985608036822353102010-06-19T18:54:31.579-07:002010-06-19T18:54:31.579-07:00Great movement throughout, nice work!Great movement throughout, nice work!Janicehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09850795271958902605noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7386934603423021992.post-47236568039169987422010-06-17T13:33:12.059-07:002010-06-17T13:33:12.059-07:00Very lovely piece~! I don't have experience with water colours, but in oils, I would have started hills with darker shades of blue, further darkening them with black for only subtle contouring, sky with only blue and white dissolving half way..

If u r interested, I can post few more landscapes, which I think u can really do justice to, with ur capability..Kanwaljit Singh Saininoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7386934603423021992.post-21002378515731792272010-06-16T22:28:56.954-07:002010-06-16T22:28:56.954-07:00Though you say that you couldnt achieve what you h...Though you say that you couldnt achieve what you had in mind, this painting does have the vitality and the freshness that reflects the essence of the atmosphere. Beautiful, as it is! However I feel that since the sky color sets the mood for the landscape, for your morning light, you could have gone for a lightest value, coupled with glowing tops of the mountains and rich cooler shadows below. Just my thoughts :-)padmajahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18297562916603110230noreply@blogger.com
